Nantucket Residential Caribbean Golf Clubhouses Special Projects

With golf, there is an involvement with the landscape,
the weather and the elements that is more than superficial.
It is part of the game itself. So with our architecture, as it seeks
to establish a deeper involvement with its landscape with the hope of
the built becoming an inevitable result of the natural. We strive to have
the landscape as part of the building itself.

"The sun's heat on my shoulders makes it difficult to concentrate. This is one of the most difficult holes. Especially now that I'm looking at the water. The sun is rippling across it and into my eyes. I'm squinting. The wind has been silent all day. Now it's whistling in my ears. I think it's blowing left to right. Beware of the sand on the right too. I can't see it, but I know it lies just over the knoll. Last week I landed right in the middle of it. My forehead is wet. My lips feel dry. I think I'm sunburned. Come on, focus on the shot."
